Computer Laboratory & Upgrade of Mgwenyane Primary School
The construction of a R500 000 computer laboratory that also include teacher’s offices with a staff room began in 2010 and opened in 2011. This new building made allowance for original classroom that was sacrificed when the computer lab was originally started.

Mgwenyane Primary School, Thembeka High School & Khaliphani High School
– IT Infrastructure
The establishment of computer laboratories and IT infrastructure at three schools in Nelspruit.

Nelspruit Golf Club
Mr Gumede an avid golfer and who was a golf caddy when he was seven years old sponsors the second of its nine holes. This is aptly named The Robert Gumede Nine. Through the Foundation Mr Gumede has also contributed to the upgrade of the course as well as to the facilities for golf caddies.

Annual Professional Black Golf Tournament
The Foundation provides a platform by sponsoring a golf tournament for professional black golfers. This tournament is meant to also foster development of the sport amongst black golfers. To date the tournament has been responsible for developing some of South Africa’s leading professional black golfers in the form of James Kamte and Omar Sandys amongst others.
